Finally Lekha, the VJ turned heroine in Kettavan, has declared that she is not acting in Kettavan. According to the actress's recent interview, she is out of the project now and Simbu, the hero of the film, has confirmed the same. Upto now, Simbu has been refusing to comment on the issue. The films producer also withdrawn from the project. Simbu handed over the film to a new producer and has accepted to reimburse the money spent by the previous producer.

Simbu is generally known for his frankness. But for the first time, he has kept his mouth shut and is smiling. It is none other than the issue of Kettavan - Lekha Washington issue that was the reason behind this. She was to play the role of a Brahmin girl in the film. Two weeks back, a section of media published reports that Simbu has removed the actress from the film’s cast.

Immediately Lekha sent mails to concerned media houses confirming her role in the film. A CD, which was also circulated by her to media, contained a lot of photographs taken from the sets of Kettavan with Simbu standing next to her. But Simbu when asked about the film was tight lipped. When asked about this, Simbu told, "It is too early to comment on Lekha. I will announce my decision to everyone whatever it may be. If I take any decision about the film, definitely I will disclose it to the media. But some of the reports saying that Asin has replaced Lekha in Kettavan is not true.”

Rani doesn't know her wedding date

Rani is both amused and horrified by these renewed suggestions that she will be getting married on Feb 10. "Because on the day when she's supposed to be getting married Rani will be shooting for Kunal Kohli's film. Contrary to reports the shooting of Kohli's film doesn't end in December but February. But that’s ok. They'll now announce a fresh wedding date on Rani's behalf.

By now she's gotten used to being engaged, married or whatever with Mr. Aditya Chopra. She denied the engagement. So did people who were supposed to be present at the ceremony. They still insisted Rani was engaged. Rani has denied the marriage. But only because she had to come out to promote her film. Now she'll keep mum until her next film releases," says a source very close to Rani. Rani herself is keeping a very low profile.

Shahid knew Saif-Kareena affair!

Actress Kareena Kapoor declared to the world a few years ago that Shahid Kapoor was his ultimate man. But today, she doesn't care to know his whereabouts, as she is in Saif hands. Aarti, Neetu, Bipasha voted hottest at Ms Bikini India 2007

In a nationwide telephonic survey conducted by the organizers of Ms Bikini India 2007, Niksan Infomedia Pvt Ltd and Big Chief Productions, Aarti Chabria, Neetu Chandra and Bipasha Basu have been voted as the hottest bods in Bollywood. These results may come as a surprise to many as Mallika Sherawat, Neha Dhupia, Udita Goswami, Celina Jaitley, Tanushree Dutta and Priyanka Chopra and normally considered 'hot' in descending order.

As the results of the survey cum poll haven't yet been made officially public and as collection of data from some smaller towns is still going on, the organizers were unwilling to go on record. "Yes, it is true that we are conducting such a survey and we have already got some initial results which have surprised us. However, we will announce the results in the first issue of our super-premium fashion and lifestyle magazine L-n-L Fashionista which will be launched next month." said the official spokesperson for Niksan Infomedia Pvt Ltd. Ms Bikini India 2007 had conducted a telephonic survey, which is now being followed up by an online (internet) poll.

However, sources within the company told us that the company was looking for a "face for the event" – a super hot Bollywood personality with good brand recall, national acceptability and a clean track record who could be the brand ambassadress for the event. They had already contacted some big names in Bollywood.

At the same time a secret nationwide telephonic survey was launched targeted at youth between 18 to 25 years of age. About 500 male college students were telephonically interviewed, says our source and were asked questions like "which Bollywood actress would they like to date, which actress did they fantasize about, which actress would they want to see in a bikini and another ten-odd similar questions. The survey is still going on, but the data from the four metros has come in and has been analyzed till date.

Aarti Chabria leads the pack and most males voted that they would like to see her in a hot, itsy-bitsy bikini. She was also voted the "Bollywood babe with hottest butt in the industry". She also scored in the hot bust department, with a majority of the interviewees voting her as the babe with the sexiest and hottest bust. These results were surprising to even the organizers as Aarti Chabria hasn't exposed much in her films or photo shoots as compared to Mallika Sherawat, Rakhi Sawant or Bipasha Basu whose statistics are known to all and sundry.

Aarti also scored in the originality department. While Sherawat lost out because many voters felt she was "unnatural with doctored assets", Aarti's assets were termed "original" by most voters. Sherawat also lost out because of her unfriendly and distant attitude, say our sources.

Priyanka ready to marry Harman!

Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra is perhaps the luckiest girl in Bollywood. While rumourmongers are busy trying to create stories out of hot Bollywood couples like Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham-Bipasha Basu and others, she is going steadily with actor Harman Baweja though they have not made their relationship public. Now, sources said that she has popped up the question to her man.

It is said that this low-profile couple is seriously thinking of marriage. Sources said that Priyanka surprised Harman recently by proposing marriage to him in the presence of their friends. It added that they are madly in love with each other and looking forward to marriage. Harman even rushed to the sets of Drona recently on learning that Priyanka was injured while doing an action scene. They often drop to each other's film sets. Sources revealed that they spend lots of time on phone.

However, sources said that Harman is not very keen on tying the knot at this stage of his life, as his career has just taken off. He is one of the most promising debutants in Bollywood today and has a couple of interesting films on hand.

Chiranjeevi's son-in-law involved in kidnap case

A day after Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's [Images] youngest daughter got married under dramatic circumstances, the Hyderabad police said the groom had a criminal past.

Sirish Bharadwaj, 22, who married Srija, 19, at a secret ceremony in Arya Samaj temple on October 18, was involved in the kidnapping of a girl five years ago, Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police station inspector Venkata Ratnam said. He was arrested on March 30, 2002, and was subsequently released on bail, Ratnam said.

The case, registered on the basis of a complaint filed by the girl's father, was then treated as a juvenile offence as Bharadwaj was still a minor. The case came to light in the wake of the flutter created by the marriage.

Srija, a chatered accountancy student, defied her family's wishes and walked out of her home to enter into wedlock with her boyfriend, with whom she was in love for four years.

The couple had sought police protection fearing threat to their lives from her family. The whereabouts of the couple is still not known, as they are yet to contact their families.

While Chiranjeevi is said to be in a state of shock ever since he learnt of his daughter's marriage, the groom's father Venkata Ramana Murthy, an advocate, said his wife and he were staying at a relative's place as they feared threat from the actor's fans.

Murthy admitted his son was involved in a kidnap case five years ago. He made it clear that he had disapproved of the marriage proposal and told his son not to go ahead with his plans.

'I feel safe with Venkatesh' - Nayantara

If there's one thing actress Nayantara hates with a passion, it's attending any of her film's publicity events or press meets.

Nayantara admits that she is a media shy. “It may sound surprising, since I am an actress, but it's just the way I am. Ask me to shoot, I can do it until I am tired, but ask me to speak to the media to publicise my movie or about my career, and I get nervous. For each of my films I just pray for its success. I am fortunate to have worked with good filmmakers who have understood my feelings on the issue," she said.

Answering to the recent gossip about her close relationship with Venkatesh, her hero in Tulasi, Nayan said: "Venkatesh is a true gentleman and very true to his profession. I felt safe and convenient while acting with him! I learned a lot from him which helped to reconstruct my thoughts and way of approach…"

However she has refused to comment on any of her Tamil heroes except the super star Rajnikanth. "Rajini sir is always great and no one could be compared with him. Acting with him is always a pleasure to an actress like me. I'm ready to act at least in a scene in his next film, if he calls me!"

Farah's hubby flirts and kisses a girl!

When Shahrukh Khan walks the ramp, he is bound to be the center of attention. But at a recently fashion event and party aimed to promote the Om Shanti Om clothing line in association with Shoppers Stop, it was director Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kunder who was under the spotlight because of his flirtatious behavior.

At the beginning of the party, Shirish played a doting husband posing for snaps beside Farah, who is expecting triplets soon. Sources say as the evening progressed, Shirish, who has also edited Om Shanti Om, got very drunk and was spotted flirting with some women at the party. Farah was so embarrassed that she promptly left the venue. But this did not deter Shirish. Sources say he continued fooling around, making passes and even kissing a girl.

When Shirish found all the cameras trained on him, he quickly got in control. Being a straightforward and firebrand woman, Farah surely won't take her husband's behaviour lightly. What is more shocking is that Shirish has a reputation of a very faithful husband. Whatever made him hammer a gaping hole in his goodwill.

Shreya gets 50 lakhs for a weeks shoot

While Shivaji - The Boss was surely a windfall that did a lot for actress Shreya Saran's career. It gave her low profile career a high profile boost. Chiranjeevi's daughter elopes and gets married..

It is a proud moment for every father when seeing his daughter sitting with the groom at the adorned wedding platform. Chiranjeevi, of course a loving father had already proved his sweetness towards his daughters on 2nd March 2006 by a never-before-and-never-again grand style wedding of his eldest daughter Susmitha. There were film directors to erect the sets, popular Venu Mahadev to give the commentary and three different venues only for guests to feast with delicious dishes.

To a contrast, today at 11:45 am Chiru's second daughter stepped into marriage life with no father to bless her and with no family aside to shower petals of happiness. Today Chiranjeevi would be the most unlucky father to have known his daughters marriage form news paper reports as his second daughter Sreja married Sirish Baradwaj at Arya Samaj today morning. Srija is just 18 years old and her husband Sirish a B.Tech graduate is 22 years. It is said that both of them were in deep love for the past four years. One year back Chiranjeevi happened to know his daughters affair and changed her college on account of her love with Sirish. They registered their names at Arya Samaja on 12 of October and kept it confidential until marriage.

The couple is at some secret place now and there are rumors that both of them will meet Chiranjeevi soon.

Shahid patches up with Kareena!

The news of Shahid Kapoor's breakup with his girlfriend of four and a half years Kareena Kapoor has hit the headlines hard. It is said that Kareena is hanging out a lot with actor Saif Ali Khan of late. However, it looks like all love is not lost between Shahid and Kareena. The latest news is that they have patched up their differences for the good of their professional lives.

Sources said that Shahid was supposed to be part of television reality show Nach Baliye 3 by appearing for the song “Mauja Hi Mauja” from Jab We Met. Now, another news is doing the rounds that Kareena Kapoor too will join him in judging the performances at the show. They are coming together again for the promotion of their latest film Jab We Met.

However, this re-union could cast doubt on the minds of the film industry watchers if this breakup story is just a publicity stunt.

Riya seeing Akshaye Khanna!

Riya has been linked with a few guys in the film industry but failed to survive the test. Akshaye Khanna too has been keeping a low profile as far as love life is concerned following his breakup with Tara Sharma. So, it is quite natural for the lonely souls to fall for each other.

Shilpa's Miss Bollywood accused of plagiarism

Shilpa Shetty seems to raise her popularity whenever she is in Europe. She has been the most covered Indian celebrity in page 3 in UK since winning the reality show Celebrity Big Brother in January this year. The actress is now been accused of plagiarism by choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. The actress allegedly copied the idea of her musical Miss Bollywood from Vaibhavi's show Merchants of Bollywood which has been successfully playing in Europe since 2005.

Shilpa who commands immense popularity in Europe was aiming to impress the West with her musical Miss Bollywood. She planned to entertain the audience and raise worldwide awareness about the largest movie industry in the world. With both the musicals touring Europe at the same time there seems to be a bit of competition going on between them.

The story lines in both are similar where Merchants of Bollywood is a story of a young girl who rebels at home and gets into Bollywood as a choreographer rather that following her family tradition and becoming a classical dancer. The story reflect some aspects of Vaibhavi Merchant's own life. Shilpa's Miss Bollywood tracks the story of young classical dancer turned choreographer trying to make the Bollywood dance popular in Europe.

Vaibhavi's seems to have drawn the first blood with her show doing well at the moment while Shilpa's show is running poorly and having empty houses. The reason being obvious, two shows of the same storyline cannot do well together. But Shilpa's charm may just turn the tide and do the magic for the show in the coming weeks. The end result is yet to be seen.

Rani to marry Aditya on February 10!

It was a few months ago when the news of actress Rani Mukherjee's engagement with director Aditya Chopra broke out. After a long hiatus, Rani declared recently that the news is rubbish, though everybody knows that there can't be smoke without fire. Now, another news is doing the rounds that they are getting married on February 10, 2008.

Sources said that the couple have booked Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan palace for their wedding on February 10. It is said that an insider from the hotel has confirmed the news. However, Aditya is yet to get divorced from his wife Payal. Divorce papers are expected to be cleared before the wedding in February.

Payal listens to her inner voice

Payal Rohatgi seems to be an avid Mahabharat fan and her favourite character, she admits, is 'Arjun'. "I am inspired by his singular minded focus," says the actress, who seems to have taken a leaf from Arjun's book. Apparently we have heard Payal Rohatgi has been pulling every contact for visibility related to Dhol, her film release after one year, post Corporate. When questioned the actress says, "Well I can understand my producers must be having billing criteria in their mind and I know my transition is not an easy process nevertheless not impossible... I just listened to my inner voice and did what I felt my conscience asked me too... Have moved on now."

With the film showing decent collections with critics considering her role passable and her attempt to be taken seriously as an actress is coming across seriously.

She had good scenes in the film and our source reveals that that's what matters the most - work... Payal's new look work is out and she had been waiting for it for 1 year. This film will obviously form basis for her to be cast in her next big film as an actor. And if our sources are to believed she has finalized another big film project but just waiting for the director to do the announcement.

Simbu scandal with ex classmate(Telephphone conv downlod audio)

This telephone conversation is recorded by Simbu in which he tries to make the girl(priya) tell that she had slept with him several nights. Shockingly the girls mom is also involved in the conversation and finally Simbu threatens Saravanan(to be married with the girl??) will come and ask her or rather kill her. Everything looks to be planned by Simbhu to show the girl's fallacy to outside world... Girl is in tears.
