In the way of setting things to come Rahul Dravid is to be unceremoniously dropped from Team India for the 6th ODI. This could come as a shock considering he has just resigned as a captain.

He is having a poor series with an average of 11 and with a very poor strike rate of 67 for 100 balls.
And this will ensure Tamil Nadu middle order batsman Badrinath gets a oppurtunity.Even we can see some changes in the bowling front.

Mallika summoned by court for obscenity

The say sex sells. It does but you get into trouble if you cross the line. Bollywood sex siren Mallika Sherawat seems to have crossed the line this time around. Vadodara first class judicial magistrate P M Atodaria has summoned the actress to appear before the court in person on November 3, in connection with the obscene dance performance on the eve of New Year on December 31, 2006.

President of Baroda Bar Association (BBA) Narendra Tiwari had filed a criminal complaint against the actress under section 8 of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956. He alleged that Mallika's dance performance on New Year eve at J W Marriott Hotel in Mumbai was not only obscene and ugly but also against the Indian culture. Following the complaint, the court had asked the police to investigate the matter.

The police have submitted the recorded statements of Mallika Sherawat and owner of W Mariotte Hotel along with video clippings of the show before the court. It is said that Mallika has admitted to performing at the show. The court can issue a non-bailable warrant against her if she fails to turn up before the court on the summoned date.

Did simbu misbehave with Lekha Washington?

Simbu, the hero and creator of Tamil film Kettavan has been keeping silence over the replacement of actress Lekha Washington.

Few days before, almost the entire media published reports that Lekha Washington, one of the heroines of Kettavan has been replaced by Asin due to her poor performance. But later Lekha denied these reports and confirmed her role in Kettavan. A photo CD of Kettavan comprising pictures of Lekha with Simbu also circulated to media soon after the denial.

The actress says: "Still I'm the heroine of Kettavan and the reports about my replacement are totally wrong. I don't know the reason for such reports...'

However, when asked about this issue , Simbu said nothing about the heroine. He says: "This is a story of a common man who lost his life due to a girl. There are two heroines sharing the lead role. I will tell other details about the film later."

Kettavan is directed by Nandakumar with Simbu penning the script. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music.
But informed sources say Simbu is getting his way with Lekha after his pressure tactics, its well known simbu takes more from his actresses apart from their acting.. It seems the rumour was to pressurize Lekha to give into his interests. We will keep you updated on this

Neha Dhupia collapsed on the set

Neha Dhupia recently gave her costars and crew of I'm 24 panicky moments after she collapsed on the sets due to sheer exertion. Concerned, director Saurabh Shukla gave her a break of three hours before resuming the shoot.

The winner of the Miss India Universe title in 2002, Neha debuted in Bollywood in Qayamat: City Under Threat. Quite early in her career she played sexy roles in films like Julie and Sheesha, which flopped at the box-office. However, her performance in Chupke Chupke was much appreciated and the 26-year-old is now more comfortable in romantic comedies.

Beauty contests, the actress believes, are a gateway to the film industry but they don't guarantee success. Guess, Neha is speaking from her own experiences.

Kareena breaks the silence on Shahid, Saif

So much has been written and talked about Kareena Kapoor. She deserves it all for being a wonderful actress, but this time, everyone is trying to intrude into her personal life. The questions that keep rumourmongers engaged all these days are whether she is still seeing Shahid Kapoor, her boyfriend of over four years or whether she has moved on to Saif Ali Khan. Different people have come out with different answers to these questions. Kareena too has own version of the story.

She has been spotted going out with Saif more than often these days. She did admitted that she share great chemistry with Saif but refused to go further. She said that he is a great co-star and a friend, and added that she came to know him really well during the shooting of Tashan. She sees nothing wrong in going out together.

But, what about the incident in a restaurant in Delhi, where the photographer, who was taking photos of her with Saif, was asked to delete? She said that nothing ugly could happen at the discotheque because her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor was around. She added that Sanjay was upset with the photographer, as they should have been given privacy.

The bold actress however refused to comment on whether Saif is a boyfriend material. And what about her relationship with Shahid? She said that her relationship with Shahid is not like the way it has been reported. However, she described him as a fabulous human being, mature and stable She also defended him by saying that he is bound to be upset when people start questioning their four-and-a-half-year-old relationship. But then, she ended by saying that she would not say anything to anyone.

As frank as ever, she revealed that she had been in love and said that it's a beautiful feeling which remains in one's heart forever. She also rubbished off the rumours that she has started taking non-vegetarian food. She said that she is a pure vegetarian.

Well, does she mean to say that she is still seeing Shahid? Is Saif more than just good friend? A direct answer would surely stop rumourmongers from digging into her private life. It is the only way to stop further speculations!

Did Ram Gopal Varma make love to Nisha Kothari in Makeup van??

Despite the Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag debacle, Ram Gopal Varma is still one of the most respected directors in Bollywood. But his bouts of unreasonable behaviour have irked some unit members of his latest film Go.

A member of the unit said on condition of anonymity: "Ram Gopal Varma used to arrive on the sets late. Then he would say that he wanted to discuss a few things with leading lady Nisha Kothari. The two would enter Nisha's make-up van and come out only after 2-3 hours. This happened for 4 to 5 consecutive days, resulting in a delay in shooting of the climax of the movie by four days."

The delay used to disturb everybody on the sets as all preparations had to be kept on hold for hours. Each delay would add to the previous day's delay and put more and more pressure on the cast and crew of the film, which has newcomer Gautam Gupta opposite Nisha.

The source added: "Every time RGV used to disappear into Nisha's make-up van, things would get worse outside as Gautam and the rest of the unit members would be ready for the shot. Reportedly, Ramuji and Nisha's parleys haunted their shoot at Goa too. "Everybody had then dismissed it as a one-time incident which won't recur. But then it did, not once, but many times," the source lamented.

Nisha has been one of Ram Gopal Varma's favourite heroines. Rumours were also doing the rounds that Varma is picking and dropping Nisha home a bit too often. What's cooking between the mentor and his discovery?

Amrita reveals her relationship with Shahid

If two people look great together on screen, many presume that there must be something special that makes them click. And worse, many of these couples are linked romantically though there is no dearth of truth. This time, Amrita Rao is the victim. She has been dragged into Shahid-Kareena breakup story, though Kareena's relationship with Saif Ali Khan is the cause of the split.

Amrita is known for her girl-next-door roles and cute look. No doubt she shares great rapport with Shahid Kapoor, having acted together in two successful films namely Ishq Vishk and Vivah. So, when Kareena Kapoor bid goodbye to Shahid, her boyfriend of four years, Amrita was made the sacrificial lamb. However, Amrita has a different story to tell. She said that she has nothing to do with Shahid-Kareena breakup. She added that such rumours are weird. Kareena's candlelit dinner with Saif

Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor looked inseparable at one point of time but they contrast like water and fire now. Kareena is having good time with her new boyfriend Saif Ali Khan while Shahid is devoting all his time in promoting his latest film Jab We Met, which incidentally has Kareena in the female lead.

Kareena was spotted with Saif at a nightclub in Delhi recently. They were also spotted together at a restaurant in Bandra relishing chicken. And sources said that the candlelit ambiance of the restaurant suited the mood of the couple. It is said that the couple looked very much in love, with Saif trying to flirt his ladylove by running his fingers into her hair and patting her shoulders. Interestingly, Kareena had given up non-vegetarian food after falling in love with Shahid. Now, that Saif has entered her life, she has started taking non-veg.

Ranbir dumps Deepika for Sonam!

Everybody knows Rishi Kapoor but not many know his son Ranbir Kapoor. Anil Kapoor needs no introduction but many have not seen his beautiful daughter Sonam Kapoor. Now, noted filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is introducing these kids of the stars to the world through his much-hyped film Saawariya.

Ranbir and Sonam have earned fame even before the release of their debut film. Now, speculations and rumours too have sprouted up. Many are of the opinion that something is cooking between the duo. They are seen together everywhere and the way they clung their hands so tenderly speaks volumes. Rumourmongers have gone to the extent of concluding that Ranbir has damped his girlfriend actress Deepika Padukone for Sonam Kapoor.
